July, and the entire summer, just seemed to go by so very fast!

Personally, Karen and I were able to get away a few days mid-month to celebrate our 34th anniversary. Talk about time flying when you're having fun! We found a steal of a deal on AirBNB and took advantage of it. It was a nice time of relaxation and downtime.

The "Living On Mission" Bible study continued through July, and we had some amazing opportunities and growth as a group. It is SO good to see how God works in lives. Our group continued to stretch themselves personally with the missional challenges, and the stories that we are sharing as a group are so very encouraging. We stopped meeting for a couple of weeks at the end of July to allow everyone to get back into the school routine, but please pray for us as we begin to meet again soon.

Speaking of back-to-school, it is time. Teachers in area districts have reported and begun to prepare for the students to return. Over the next week, students begin classes and the 2023-24 school year will be in full swing. Please be in prayer for all students, teachers and staff for a great start and a wonderful year. Also, pray for us as we continue our campus partnerships and search for more opportunities to serve.

One final update, please continue to pray with us as we have enjoyed some growth in our church. Our group has been active inviting folks to join us for worship, and we have been blessed to have some new faces as a result of the work at the end of June. As always, we are looking ahead with much anticipation of what God will do!
