We hope you and your family are able to have a nice long weekend of rest this Labor Day. Personally, we think it is genius that a major holiday falls right after the flurry of back to school activities! Our plans are for some relaxation as we prepare for all that is ahead in September and beyond for CrossWalk-Pflugerville.

Our fourth and final Preview Worship Experience was August 8, and there were 33 in worship that morning. It turned into our best experience yet because our sound board shut down. Yep, shut down. This allowed us to really focus on Him, and it turned the morning into a very blessed time! Isn't it amazing how He can use every circumstance to in turn receive all of the praise? God is so good.

Our primary sending church, CrossWalk-Round Rock, blessed our team with a special time of worship on August 29th. This group has been such a vital part of our lives for the past two years, and we will miss being with them as a family each week. That morning, they honored us as a team as they commissioned us with prayer as the church in Antioch did for Barnabas and Saul in Acts 13. It was a powerful and humbling morning for us all.

Now, the most exciting part of this update...CrossWalk-Pflugerville officially launches on Sunday, September 12!!! After the ups and downs of the past two years, it feels SO GOOD to finally be able to say those words!!! (Sorry for all of the !!!, we may be a little excited!!!) For now, we will continue to meet at the Courtyard by Marriott, but we are looking for a place to call our own in the near future. Also for launch weekend, we are excited to have a team from FBC Winnsboro here to help us canvas some more neighborhoods and host a block party in a key area. It will be an amazing weekend!!!
