Happy Mother's Day!

November 25, 2019

More important than this LATE update, I want to take a moment to share Happy Mother's Day wishes to all of the very special ladies reading this. I pray you have a wonderful day this Sunday, and every other day, being honored as you all should.

"Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." Proverbs 31:31

April was a great month filled with excitement over our new worship location. We have already established a great partnership with the Elevate Event Center, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to utilize this great new venue!

Our city hosted a fantastic new festival this month called A Slice of Pflugerville. It provided an opportunity for the community to get together and spend a Saturday enjoying the many talents and treasures of our city restaurants, artists, local organizations, and many other vendors. We were able to meet many new people and engage in some amazing conversations. Next year as a church, we will explore the possibility of being a vendor at the event!

As a Pfamily, we ended April with a good old fashioned fish fry! Of course the food was good, and I was even allowed to operate a fryer to cook the fries and hush puppies. I didn't burn anything, not even myself! As a group, we explored three questions together that afternoon:

1. Where is your "road to Emmaus" leading you?

2. What is consuming your thoughts/mind causing you to miss out on the presence of Jesus right in front of you?

3. How have you gone from where you were to where you are today and where do you want to go in your relationship with Jesus?

These were very thought provoking and allowed us to have some very honest conversation about our future as a church body. We cannot wait to see where God takes us towards what's next.

Please join us praying for the mission teams preparing to join us here this summer. We are very excited and honored to have these groups help us continue to engage our city with the Gospel. Be praying for safe travel and many open doors for conversations.

We continue to be so very thankful for our Gospel partners! If you or your group would like to partner with us as well, please begin to do so by praying with us. As you all know, prayer is our most valued partnership! If you would like to partner with us "in the trenches" here, please email us or call us so we can begin the conversation. If God is leading you to generously give a one-time gift or establish an ongoing gift to the work of CrossWalk-Pflugerville, you can text GIVE to (512)877-6482 or click this link: https://www.crosswalkpf.church/give (or the Give tab at the top of the page). If you do choose to give electronically, please select "CrossWalk-Pflugerville" in the drop-down menu.

Loving God. Loving People. Serving Both...everywhere we go.

Again, Happy Mother's Day!

For the love of Pflugerville,

Heath & Karen
