What a year we had in 2023, and I'm not just talking about the church. Each of us individually can look back and see so much. There were ups and downs, happiness and sadness, but through it all there was joy that comes only from our Father. The hope, peace, joy and love that come from the Lord are what give us the strength and courage to look forward and always proclaim, God is GOOD!
As we roll into 2024, we have adopted NEW as our word for the year. New is defined in many ways, and for us we agreed on "discovered recently, already seen but experiencing for the first time, fresh, not yet fully experienced" as our battle cry. Our verse to remind us is found in Revelation 21:5, "And the one sitting on the throne said, 'Look, I am making everything new!' And then he said to me, 'Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.'" Instead of dwelling on 2023 and some of the struggles we all went through, we are choosing to celebrate all that God DID, and we are looking forward with great expectation to "what's next!" No, that isn't a question, it is in anticipation of how He will work and move this coming year. I am believing that as a church (and individually) we haven't seen anything yet. God is going to do some amazing things in, through and with us.
We continue to be so very thankful for our Gospel partners! If you or your group would like to partner with us as well, please begin to do so by praying with us.
