Quick opening update and change to the newsletter. This update will begin the change from monthly to quarterly emails. We ended the month of March with an awesome Easter Sunday and celebration of our risen Savior. Many people joined us for worship, and there were still a few seats available. Everyone enjoyed the morning, and as always, we are anticipating all that is ahead for us.

God is so very good! During the month of March, we were excited to see two give their lives to Christ! Be watching in the near future for updates and pictures of the baptism celebrations.

Please pray with us as we are anticipating and working on plans for two mission teams in June. FBC-Winnsboro will be here June 20-23 followed by Champion Forest Baptist Church June 28-30. We are so very excited to have both groups back this year! Our efforts will be concentrated in some new areas that will help us expand our territory and reach. Please pray for open doors and community cooperation. We need your prayer in this!

I want to wrap up with an update of something that actually occurred April 1, but I don't want to wait until July to share it. Karen and I had ventured to Hutto and we stopped for lunch at one of our favorite places, Taco Casa. While we were eating, Kelly came over and joined our conversation. We soon learned that he is the owner of the restaurant and a believer. As a result of our visit, he offered his restaurant for our use on Wednesday nights for our midweek Bible study gathering! To some, this may not sound like big news, for us here...it is HUGE. We have encountered so many obstacles and road blocks to our gatherings along the way, and this is like a breath of fresh air. Please join us as we pray for Kelly and his business, and please join us and we praise God for our new friend in the work. Again, God is good!
